Sarah kept an eye on Eve and her foul-smelling companion while Michael gloated about being right. “…Sure she’s changed a little, especially her taste in clothes, but it’s still Eve.” Michael was saying. Sarah turned her full attention to Michael in shock. What was he saying? Clearly he didn’t believe that thing was Eve?
“Michael that may look like Eve but it’s clearly not her! She hasn’t changed only ‘a little’. Her skin is so red it looks like she’s been in the sun for far too long and she has a tail, for God’s sake! How can you believe, even for a second that woman, demon, hell-spawn or whatever the hell she is, can be Eve?!” But Michael wasn’t paying attention to Sarah’s rant. He was staring at Eve as if she were the only thing in the alley. Sarah snapped her fingers in front of Michael’s face, “Snap out of it, Michael!! That’s not Eve!! At least not the Eve we both loved. We need to leave. NOW! While they’re both busy talking amongst themselves and not paying any attention to the two of us.” Little did Sarah know that Fredrick had been listening in on their conversation while talking with Eve.
