Eve was pissed! She couldn’t believe that Michael and decided to take some time to make sure Sarah was completely on board with all of this. It seemed to her that her suspicions had been dead on when it came to the two of them sneaking around behind her back. It wasn’t exactly as if Sarah had ever hidden the fact that she was attracted to Michael from the very beginning. But Sarah had often been called plain when compared to Eve so it was the latter who had won the man’s affections. Now Eve could see that Sarah’s attraction had grown into something much more and wondering how long her best friend had been in love with her boyfriend. Sure, it appeared that Sarah had kept just north of the boundary line where friendship could be tipped to much more, but how much of that was Michael’s guilt and how much was Sarah’s trying to remain a true friend to a woman who was supposed to be dead a year ago? Maybe the two of them just used the grief of losing someone they cared so deeply about as a cover to get closer and they were about to let the world know they were really a couple now. But what was Eve thinking? Did she really believe that Sarah would try to weasel her way into her boyfriend’s affections? Could she make herself believe that Sarah was so conniving? With Fredrick whispering just as much in her ear, she could absolutely make herself believe that underneath all of Sarah’s innocent façade she was truly a manipulative, two-faced woman.
