Solitary witch Meghan Nightshade is torn between hiding inside her self-made company in Atlanta and returning to stay in her hometown of Salem. One represents new beginnings, and the other her past. When an illness forces her to return to Salem for a short time, she realizes there are forgotten memories among the magic and nothing was the same as she remembered. Between preparing for the upcoming Halloween traditions and falling for the sexy Eathan Callaghan, Meghan is pulled back into the world of magic, covens, and witchcraft. Is she strong enough now to battle for the freedom of Eathan’s innocent sister, or will it cost her too much, and send her running back to the safety of Atlanta?

“I have a feeling not much surprises you, Eathan Callaghan.” Again, his earthy smell called to her. Her body trembled.
“That’s true. Living here for the past ten years has taught me a lot of things.” He squeezed her elbow. “Including the fact that there are many things that cannot, or rather, will not be explained through science. I’ve even had the honor of exploring Nathaniel’s House of the Seven Gables alone. The proprietor owed me a favor. It was…interesting.”
Meghan paused and stared at him. “You believe in magic and ghosts and such?”
“Of course I do. You can’t live in Salem and not believe there’s something different out there.” He grinned. “I’ve taken Karen to lunch at Pickering Wharf more than once.”

I live outside of Atlanta, GA. When not working my day job, I am either working on a manuscript, or furiously jotting notes for future stories. If time permits, I spend time with my daughter, twin sister and two cats and two dogs. Two years I fulfilled a life long dream of travelling to England. My sister and daughter joined me and we spent one week in London and one week in Scotland. I loved it so much! One day, I'll be going back. My son returned home after serving four years with the United States Marines. I missed him and am happily spending time together. A few years ago, I was invited to guest blog about my adventures with two great writers. It was so much fun, thatI have created a blog for this site and am working on filling it.

He left to save himself, but ended up losing her…

Two years ago Eric Tam left Las Vegas, his career in shambles. Now he’s rebuilt his life, but it’s conditional on one thing—he can’t go back. Until he gets the one phone call that changes everything. His former lover, the one he still dreams about, is in trouble with their mutual boss.
It’s been years since Andie saw her first love, Eric. And she definitely doesn’t want to see him now, not when her life is a complete mess. But unlike Eric once did, her problems aren’t going away. She’s trusted the wrong people. Soon it becomes clear it’s not just her job on the line. It’s her life…

Lucy Leroux is another name for USA Today Bestselling Author L.B. Gilbert.

Seven years ago Lucy moved to France for a one-year research contract. Six months later she was living with a handsome Frenchman and is now happily married to him...and still in France.

When her last contract ended Lucy turned to writing. Frustrated by the lack of quality romance erotica she created her own.

Cursed is the first of many regency novels. Additionally, she writes a bestselling contemporary series. The 'Singular Obsession' books are a combination of steamy romance and suspense that feature intertwining characters in their own stand-alone stories.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Lucy and I write the bestselling 'A Singular Obsession' Romance Erotica Series. It’s a combination of contemporary romance erotica and suspense. I have a lot of fun writing these books which feature strong intelligent women—characters my readers can like and respect. My goal is to write entertaining romances with heros and heroines you don’t want to punch in the face! They are also blisteringly hot. I have always enjoyed honest and somewhat explicit sex scenes when I read, so that’s what I write.

Tell us about your title featured in this set:

My book Save me is a stand-alone novella in the series. It’s premiering exclusively as part of the Coming in Hot box set!

Save Me is one of my shorter works, but I didn’t set a record on this one, mainly cause I’m a new mom. I have a one year old who objects to the amount of time I spend on my computer :P Luckily I have some loyal fans who push and prod me for the next book in the series.

Tell us something about yourself:
If you’ve read my books I often feature women who work in scientific fields or have advanced degrees. That’s me sprinkling little bits of myself in my heroines. I have degrees in Biology from Harvard and Berkeley and I used to study fungi. I moved to France for work on a US grant but when the money became French so did the personnel :P. That’s when I turned to writing. It is WAY more entertaining.

Tell us about your writing process:
I used to write very fast pre-baby. Post baby it’s been something of a struggle finding the time. I have to wait till she’s asleep or at daycare. I only get a limited amount of subsidized care here in France but it’s support a lot of working moms are lacking in the States!

What is your favourite genre to read?
I usually like to read the genre I’m writing in. I do three-contemporary romance erotica, paranormal regency erotica, and clean paranormal romance as L.B. Gilbert. It’s especially helpful when writing historical to immerse yourself in other works set in the same time period. It helps consolidate and enrich all the details of setting and culture that I want to include in my own work.

What would you say is the one thing are you most passionate about?
For me I would say this is writing characters who are honest and have integrity. I have always disliked emotional immaturity in characters. I especially hate when a character’s immaturity/stupidy is used to move a story forward. I hate conflict that could be resolved with a simple conversation and a little honesty. This doesn’t mean I write paragons of virtue. My characters are honest and real and sometimes flawed.

Some would argue that my men often do stupid things and that creates conflict in my books. Yes, they do! They are supposed to be real men after all :P

When you are not writing, what do you like to do?
What do I like to do or what do I HAVE to do? Most of my free time goes to baby and husband. We are homebodies, but there’s some advantage to living near downtown Toulouse. When we do want to do something we can generally find something to do. Unless it’s Sunday. Then everything is closed.

If someone who hasn’t read any your books asked you to describe your story in this set (the elevator pitch!) what would you say?
Save Me is about the one that got away. When circumstances and his own personal demons forced Dr. Eric Tam to leave Las Vegas, he left someone important behind. Two years later he hears she’s in trouble and he’s on the next plane there.

She glanced down at her notes and her heart dropped to her knees when she read what she’d mindlessly typed—Call Eric.

Oh, hell no. She deleted the note and shoved the phone in her pocket.

She wasn’t going to get in touch with him. Not after all this time. Andie swallowed and blocked the mental image her brain had just thrown up, but it was a particularly vivid one of Eric’s head buried between her legs.

Squirming in her chair, Andie blushed while fighting tears. It had been two years, but it still hurt to think about him. Recklessly in love for the first time, she’d done things with Eric she still regretted.

I was a completely different person back then, she reminded herself. Everyone had one person they went completely stupid over. Dr. Eric Tam was that person for her. But he was in the past—and he was staying there.

Andie ground her teeth, trying not to think about him. Which meant he was the only thing on her mind now.

When Eric had first started coming to Lynx as a regular she’d been immediately infatuated with him. He was tall, with broad shoulders and movie star good looks. She’d gone so far as to bribe another waitress to give her his table. After a night of determined flirting, he’d made sure to sit in her section whenever he came back. One night she had “bumped into” him in one of the dark corners of the club. He’d wasted no time taking her up on her unspoken offer. They had jumped into a physical relationship that night, her very first.

Images of wild lovemaking in expensive hotel rooms flooded through her…dancing and having sex on the roof of the hotel…hooking up in the storeroom. Sucking him off in the bathroom—which to her shame had been her idea.

He didn’t even realize you were a virgin your first night with him. She hadn’t told him.

Andie had been in her early twenties and was worried he would think it weird to be inexperienced at her age. But she hadn’t wanted anyone enough to get physical before. Not until she met him.

Eric lived up to her every secret desire and expectation for a first lover. Soon she was like an addict, panting after him like a sex-crazed lunatic.

     Stop it.

In the end, the man of her wet dreams had left her in the dust like everyone else in her life. It didn’t matter that she loved him. It was over and done with. And the only salve to her savaged pride was the fact he had no idea how deeply she cared for him. She never told him and he never asked.

     Men were idiots.

Summer Parker has moved to Salem, into her great-grandmother's house. Once there, she is plagued by the sensation of someone watching her. Added to that, she is having strange dreams about her ancestor, Mark Parker, who was one of Salem’s witches. Her human roommates remove most of the eeriness of her predicament, but the intangible roomie is making himself at home too. After a close call, the identity of her resident ghost is revealed. But if Geoffrey is the ghost, does that make her Mary Parker? One thing is certain, Geoffrey is as determined to protect her. WARNING: Suicide Trigger.

Although classic, the house had been maintained and renovated over the years, so it looked quaint, but had central heating, hot water on demand, and proper outlets in all the walls. There was even an Ethernet outlet in the sitting room under an old writing desk that had been converted for a keyboard tray and monitor.
“Sweet.” Summer ran her hand over the warm brown wood, polished to shine. She had opted not to keep the cleaners, saving a few pennies by keeping house herself. It wasn’t an option to normal renters. The cleaning crew could alert the management company of problem tenants before much damage could be done.
Summer shivered with a chill that was likely the result of rain water. Her hair, where it had escaped her hood, dripped. She shrugged off the slicker and left it with the boots, then took her tote and suitcase up the stairs. Creaks accompanied her climbing, and that sound echoed as well. She would have to set up a portable stereo or something. The place was too creepy with no one in it. There were four bedrooms in total—two tiny, one fairly large and a master suite, which she claimed.
She snorted at the thought. It had a sink attached. Not even a toilet. Not really a suite. It was the largest bedroom, though, and would give her somewhere to brush her teeth and fix her hair once her roommates arrived.
Flopping on the bed, she looked up at the plaster ceiling and saw a myriad of tiny cracks. Was that a bad thing? Would pieces of it start falling on her? Standing on the duvet in damp socks, she stretched to see it better.
“Ew.” They weren’t cracks but strings of cobwebs, tons of them. She couldn’t reach, but she would be back with a broom before sleeping. And she might not be able to sleep even then.
She would head out for food—eat out tonight or get groceries for tomorrow—but there was one more thing to do before that. Her tablet rested in her tote bag, and she sent a message to Mom, Aunt Marge, and Della, her best friend from Montreal. They would all want to know that she arrived safely, that the house was in great shape—she didn’t mention the cobwebs, the cleaners hadn’t been in since the last renter left—and she was excited to start class in a couple of days.
Formalities done, she looked out the window into the grey September evening and considered ordering in pizza. It made more sense to get groceries, though. After all, she would need breakfast as well. Judging the rain, she wondered if it was worth waiting for it to pass.
She spun around, the overwhelming sense of someone watching her coming from the closet. That made no sense. She opened the doors wide, revealing a bare bar with several hangers that rattled as air swept out.
Leaning in, Summer looked left and right, examining the corners. Maybe it was a mouse. Nope.
She hopped down the stairs and put on her jacket. Suddenly groceries and rain seemed better than staying where she was. Had Aunt Marge said anything about high turnover, or infestations, or anything? She set a quick pace and tried to recall, but nothing came to mind. The turnover was high, but that was just because students only stayed for a few years. Still, she would email Marge tonight.
When she returned with the groceries, her arms aching slightly from the weight of them, the eerie feeling was gone. Relieved, she took her time putting away milk, bread, cereal, and everything else. The deli sandwich came last and she took her time eating it.
Climbing the stairs, she yawned. It had been a long trip and she hoped for a less grey day tomorrow.
When she was curling up in bed, the sensation of being watched returned. “Who’s there?” she asked, feeling stupid. Who was going to answer her?
There was no reply, but her bedroom door squeaked on its hinge, swinging in slightly. She closed her eyes and told herself it was her imagination. One thing was certain, she would be thrilled when her roommates arrived. This place was too empty, just like the large bed, filled with only herself.

Hi! I am super excited for this opportunity. Thank you for having me! I’m here to talk about my new release, Sweet Ruin, a spin off of my #1 bestselling urban fantasy series, The Chronicles of Koa, and help my readers get to know me better.

Tell us about your title featured in this set:

Sweet Ruin started off as a paranormal romance that turned into a dark and steamy urban fantasy with action, suspense, and romance. My main character, Alice is a fallen angel with hidden abilities and the desire to fit in the human world and settle down with the human doctor she’s fallen for. She never suspected that he had a paranormal past of his own.

Tell us something about yourself:
I was born in Chicago, raised in Atlanta, and spent many years in Charlotte, NC. I’ve also spent some time in South Korea and travelled the world. I just made the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller’s lists in August, and still can’t believe it! I’m married to the super hot nerd of my dreams and we have a sweet little toddler with the coolest hair ever.

Tell us about your writing process:
My writing process consists of dreams transcribed to paper. Yes, I hand write my first drafts! I use a simple outline and let the characters lead the way. Once that first draft is complete, I let my beta readers read. Then, I revise, edit, and send the story to the masses. My writing has greatly increased over the past year. What once took my at least a year, now takes about a month or two.

What is your favourite genre to read?
I have several. I love high-fantasy, historical fiction, and classic British and French literature.

What would you say is the one thing are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about my family and traveling.

When you are not writing, what do you like to do?
When I am not writing, I am either gaming, dining out, traveling, or just playing with my son.

If someone who hasn’t read any your books asked you to describe your story in this set (the elevator pitch!) what would you say?
Fallen angels. Shifters. Smoking hot demons that you can’t help but secretly root for. Alice has to make a choice that can either give her redemption or fall deeper into the abyss.

Thank you for having me! I hope you enjoy my new release and stay in touch!

“Tell me about your weekend,” Alice said to her last patient of the day. “How about we start with that?”

Lisa, a fourteen-year-old bulimia patient, twirled her short brown hair around her finger, her eyes cast to her sneakers. “My mom came to visit,” she said with a sigh.

“That’s good,” Alice said, watching Lisa’s micro expressions closely. “How did she make you feel?”

“The same. Guilty. I know it costs a lot to keep me here, and she thinks that I can just turn it off.” Lisa’s eyes rose to Alice’s. “But I can’t. Every time I look at myself, that monster is there. The fat one with the huge thighs and droopy chin.” She wiped her eyes with the sleeves of her red jacket. “I hate the girl in the mirror.”

No, sweetie, Alice thought. Her heart broke from all of the pain she felt emitting from that young girl. You are beautiful. She wanted to say those things to her, to heal her from within. She was so lost, and Alice could help her. She had the power, just not the courage to go down that road again.

Too many times had she put herself in danger by using her power.

Alice would have to use her knowledge as a psychiatrist to help Lisa this time. So, she took her notes, prescribed more anti-anxiety meds, and told her they would talk again in a week. It was draining to beat around the bush when Alice could just use her power to heal Lisa and show her the truth.

After Lisa left from her session, Alice drank the rest of her tea and checked her emails. She was disappointed that there was no word from Crescenita. The girl had been staying with her for a week after her initial orientation to the human world, and now she’d been missing for two days.

She sighed and sat back in her chair, rolling it toward the window that looked over the city.

Alice headed out of the door of her private office in the psychiatric ward of the hospital. Something caught her attention.

     A letter.

She lifted a bright blond brow and paused, staring at it. If it had been a normal envelope like the countless ones she got in the mail, it wouldn’t have perplexed her so. This one had a red emblem on it, an emblem she recognized too well.

Her heart thumped in her chest, her face paled, as she reached for it.

Her hands shook as she lifted the flap to open it. She pulled out the card and didn’t bother to read the message. Her eyes went directly to the signature.

     Luke.

     Her ex.

     He’d found her.

She clutched the letter, too afraid to read it. Her eyes darted from one end of her office to the other, afraid that he was in there, hiding and waiting.

Instead of waiting around to find if that was true, she hurried to leave her office, not even bothering to lock it up. If some crazy person wanted to get in there badly enough, they would find a way.

Alice had more dangerous scenarios on her mind.

Her heels clicked along the linoleum floor as she hurried to the elevator.

Once inside, she watched the doors close. Her scream was caught in her throat as the lights flickered out. In the darkness, someone pressed her to the back of the elevator.

She couldn’t scream. She couldn’t move.

That was the first hint that this was a premonition, and not yet a reality.

It isn’t real, she said to herself. It is not real.

Too bad that it felt real, and as she felt her assailant’s cold breath on her neck, she knew who was doing this to her.

“Leave me alone, Luke,” she pleaded. “Please.”

Instead of replying, his chuckle in the dark turned her blood cold.

“Alone? No, love. Never.” His bony knuckle ran along her jawbone, and all she could see was the white light in his eyes as they searched hers. “Don’t tell me that you haven’t missed me? Not one little bit?”

“No,” she shouted. “I left for a reason. Why can’t you just let me go?” Her words came out more like a plea, and she hoped that Luke didn’t take it as a weakness. He was the master of exploiting one’s weakness, and she just wanted to be left alone.

His kind of love was too intense, and she had worked hard to escape him.

He clutched her neck, his fingers tightening around her throat. “Because you belong to me. Don’t you remember? I own you while you are in this world. And while I own you, I will love and protect you no matter how much you fight it.”

With those words, he vanished, and within seconds, the elevator was lit and Alice was by herself with only the blinking of the floor she was to get off on and her own racing heartbeat.

She fled from that elevator, wishing she had someone to turn to, someone to protect her. In a town full of humans, there was no one like that for her.

As she hurried to her car she thought of the only person she knew she could trust. But, would her old general take pity on her? Once Alice led armies. She commanded warrior men and women into frightening battles that the world didn’t even know were waged right before their eyes.

She got into her car and chewed her lip, her heart thumping so loudly that she could hear it and the rush of blood to her ears.

Her old general had to know what she was dealing with. She wasn’t alone in this—not if she didn’t want to be.

Fallen angels had to stick together.
